Project Information:

The Lower Assunpink Creek Environmental Restoration Project is a work of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) that will “daylight” a 500-foot section of the Assunpink Creek that is currently contained within a concrete box culvert between S. Broad Street and S. Warren Street in downtown Trenton, immediately adjacent to the Capital Place One Plaza. The project site is approximately 1,000 feet (2 city blocks) upstream from the mouth of the Assunpink Creek at the Delaware River and is located on land owned by the City of Trenton.

Matthew Brener, P.E. manages the Project Implementation Group at BRS, Inc. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in New Jersey and Pennsylvania with over fifteen years of experience managing complex public sector economic development projects.
