For this month’s technical event, we are pleased to announce a presentation on Hyperloop Technology: The Imperative for Speed. The presentation will discuss a current project in Pennsylvania (through the PA Turnpike Commission) to perform an initial study into hyperloop technology and the potential impacts to the Commonwealth and neighboring states. The speaker will walk you through the legislation and technology to provide a better understanding of the Hyperloop process.
Dan is AECOM's deputy ITS and Connected/Automated Vehicle practice leader, who also serves as the company’s lead for transportation broadband. As a registered engineer in 10 states and with 25 years of experience, Dan has worked on various projects from strategic planning, AV route design and planning, traditional ITS design and design-builds, hyperloop, electrification, and fiber optic / broadband network design. He also helps to train junior staff in technical, business communications, and business acumen of engineering consulting at AECOM.
He holds a B.S. from Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Mr. Corey is a member of ITE, ASHE, and ASCE. He has travelled to every continent on the earth.
