Paul Craddock, RE, FM has over 32 years of service as a public servant for the people of New Jersey. Working hard to improve the state’s infrastructure in all aspects and doing so with the satisfaction of the challenge and accomplishment. Currently Paul is Resident Engineer on two stormwater restoration projects and Field Manager on a third. Mr. Craddock began his career with the NJDOT in Operations in 1990. Paul has worked with numerous entities on numerous projects over the years in New Jersey, some notable ones including: The U.S. Dept. of the Interior, Liberty State Park and Ellis Island, The New Jersey State Police, The South Jersey Transportation Authority, Montclair University, William Paterson University, Allaire Airport, Aero flex – Andover Airport, Menlo Park Veterans Home, The Barnegat peninsula (Superstorm Sandy), and the Delaware and Raritan Canal Commission. In 2003 Mr. Craddock moved to the NJDOT Roadway Design Unit. It was here Paul received a solid foundation of multiple “cradle to grave” contract experiences.
In 2014 Paul was chosen to be the Resident Engineer for a joint venture of the NJDOT and the South Jersey Transportation Authority to create the Atlantic City Expressway Evacuation Crossover. Following that he has been RE on “Statewide” Maintenance Stormwater restoration contracts repairing and maintaining the states Stormwater infrastructure statewide. He found that the current system of Stormwater infrastructure’s location varied widely between regions and contracts. He created a naming system for all drainage system components with a specific “call-out” that would never change and could be added to. The naming system he created has been adopted and incorporated in the language of his current three contracts special provisions. To date Paul along with his staff has identified, inspected, and named all structures for stormwater for over 400 miles of NJDOT’s roads.
