This presentation will provide an overview of Construction Management and Inspection and will discuss some common construction issues and ways to avoid, mitigate and resolve the issues in design and construction. Attendees will learn about who these mythical field people are, and what they do on a daily basis. We will discuss how the construction management and inspection team can work with the designers, agencies and road users to provide an on-time, claim free and on-budget project and how this experience can be used even before shovels hit the ground. We will cover topics such as construction staging, material testing, unforeseen conditions and change order review and negotiation.
