Highway Engineer, Mount Laurel, NJ
Job Description:
McCormick Taylor is actively seeking an experienced Highway Design Engineer with a minimum of 5+ years of NJDOT preliminary and final design highway experience for our Mount Laurel, New Jersey office. Successful candidate must be well versed in NJDOT and NJTA design criteria and standards and have experience in horizontal and vertical geometry, roadway modeling and cross section development, grading and drainage, traffic control, signing and pavement marking, utility coordination, and right-of-way plan development.
The primary duties are to serve in a technical role under the direction of a Project Manager on various NJDOT Capital Program transportation projects. Projects may include roadway improvements, intersection design, ROW acquisition, access, utilities, and ADA design. Candidate must be well versed in NJDOT design criteria and standards.
